Getting Started

Account setup

Profile, team invites, and workspace basics for organizers.

Your organizer account is separate from guest registration. Guests never need to create an organizer account to buy a ticket. This page covers what you set up after signup.

Profile

Open Profile from the account menu and set:

  • Display name: shown to teammates and on some internal lists
  • Email: used for login and account notifications
  • Photo (optional): helps teammates recognize you

Keep these accurate; they appear on team lists and can show up in operational emails.

Account settings vs event settings

This distinction confuses many new users:

Where What it controls
Account Settings Password, notification defaults, account-level preferences
Event workspace Everything for one event: site, tickets, forms, team roles, check-in

Changing something on Event A never changes Event B. Always confirm which event is selected in the header switcher.

Inviting teammates

Most events are run by more than one person. From an event, open Team and invite people by email.

Manager

Can edit most event content and use ops tools (tickets, site, check-in, campaigns). Use this for co-organizers and trusted volunteers who need to change things.

Viewer

Read-only access for reporting and oversight. Use this for stakeholders who should see numbers without editing.

Invitees receive an email, accept the invite, and land in the shared event workspace.

Working with multiple events

Your main dashboard lists every event you own or were invited to. Each event has:

  • Its own public site and slug
  • Its own tickets and attendees
  • Its own team list

Create as many events as your plan allows. Use clear names and date-based slugs so you can tell “April Meetup” from “May Meetup” at a glance.

Checklist after signup

  1. Complete your profile

Add a display name and confirm your email is correct.

  2. Create or join an event

Create your first event, or accept a team invite from a co-organizer.

  3. Invite collaborators

Add managers or viewers before you go live so nobody shares one login.
